Pretty sure it's an aftermarket stock for a Remington 870.
I thought the same thing.
It's not an 870 , I tried it on my 870 and it's not even close. The piece jutting from the front seems to have to rest against the rear of the trigger guard on whatever gun its for

Well dang it I'm sorry I didn't go with my gut when i first saw your post, I said to myself that looks like my stevens 320, but I'm no expert and didn't want to waste one of the 10 responses allowed and also didn't really want to admit I own a cheap shotgun...😁
