I knew this would be coming. I told people he would do it to try to contain gas prices as long as he could. Then after the midterm elections when the republicans control both chambers gas prices will really rise and he can deflect some of the blame. I seen it coming when he was elected and told people. Some people told me I didn't know what I was talking about to which I replied "wait and see".
The oil reserves are for emergencies. I guess Joe figures his plummeting ratings are an emergency. What a piece of work.

Just a publicity stunt to make the uninformed think he is actually doing something. That 50 million barrels is just slightly over two days of oil consumption in the US. Sure to have a huge impact I'm sure.
