Bats 11/24

Okay, Monday when I went hunting it was 19 degrees yet I still ended up with a tic on me. Today I drove to a place and turned a raccoon out of a live trap then turned my dog lose to tree it. As I was loading up I seen a bat flying around catching insects. Tomorrow is Thanksgiving and there are still bats catching bugs. I can't remember seeing a bat this late in the year before and tics are around later and later. I've seen tics on deer and other critters this late but not in the brush for me to pick one up.

I'm saying things went batty.
They are still flying. Have a colony in the woods.
I'm quite a bit north of SC. Maybe they fly here this late regular but I can't remember seeing one this late.
40 degrees here yesterday, 19 night before.
Saw a huge flying bug hatch, gnats or something, about 4 pm while heading to the evening deer viewing.
I've killed 2 mosquito's in the last couple days here in northern lower Michigan!
