Look like some form of cable tensioners.
Used in aircraft. Control cables. For adjusting and tightening during assembly
They use to use them on old wooden screen doors to square them up.----------Ray
IIRC, I thought that they had something to do with airplanes. Are there any value to them?

Unless I'm missing something there are no threads on those turnbuckles. How are they adjusted?
I'm just guessing, but I'd say that the threads are hidden inside the body of the adjuster.
The brass barrel is threaded on each end. One end is left hand thread the other is right hand.. the small hole in the center is for safety wire to pass through and then goes to each end, passed through the steel fitting and then wrapped around the barrel to keep it from turning.
