Just gassed up at Wal-Mart. It is strange to say $2.79 per gallon is a real good price.

Everyone else in this area is over $3 per gallon in price so $2.79 looks pretty good. It pained me to type that!😣
Hot Momma might need to go to our daughters this afternoon so motion lotion was a priority. It is very strange to see a totally empty Wal-Mart parking lot except for two Sheriffs dept. cars, one in front of the two front entrances to Wal-Mart. I'm guessing there was one or two cop cars out back of Wal-Mart also.
I hope each and everyone of you are able to count your blessings on this day of Thanksgiving. Along with thanks I hope you enjoy that wonderful Thanksgiving meal!!

promotional to get you in the stores ?
I don't know if Wal-Mart considers gas a way to get customers into the Wal-Mart stores but the Wal-Mart that is 2 miles from my home is always the cheapest place to buy gas anywhere in my area. Almost always when either of us leave our home to go where ever we are going we drive past Wal-Mart so we have a great combination, lowest price, most convenient.
There is much about Wal-Mart and its customer base that I try and avoid but buying gas there is great.
Actually, Wal-Mart isn't that bad if you get there early, get your shopping done before the all the trash and riffraff get out of their beds. I save a lot of money on certain select items like sunflower seeds for my bird feeders. Way cheaper than anyone else. For groceries Aldi blows Wal-Mart out of the water.
At least in Texas the Walmarts Gas stations are called Murphys and they have a rewards program to get 10 cents off the regular price of gas for 100 earned points, they are usually the lowest or same price as their nearby competitors, I use it when needed but Krogers reward program lets you use more than just the 100 points you can gets 10 cents off for every 100 points up to a max of a dollar off and they don't limit it to only 20 gallons like WalMart/Mruphys does.
The closest place to me charges $.10 per gallon for using a debit card.
I haven't been there since they started that crap.
jimdeere, that is odd because the nearest Walmart (40 miles) gives you 3 cents off if you use a debit card.
