Interested in the plate on the left
The one on the right is from a 1953 Model 94 Winchester
The larger plate measures 5" long has the exact checkering as the 94 plate

Yes I think you are correct that it is too pointed :(
what's the hole spacings?
Could you order a "shotgun" style butt stock on a 94, and if so was it larger??
3 7/16" O/C
My 52C measures 3-7/16" but the top edge is flatter, also from the top to the center of the first hole is 3/4"
top to the center of the first hole is 3/4"
this one is closer to 5/8"
