Where else but sw Va ???? The County Sheriff stopped at the house, during the covid 19 height, to meet our aunt (a WWII Vet) on her 99th birthday, . For her 100th birthday, he came by with a parade of fire trucks, ambulances, emergency response vehicles & the TV news. It was her last really great day. On her death, he attended her memorial repast tonight at a local restaurant with his secretary & their spouses. God Bless America !

    I ran into an old timer wearing a Navy cap in a local store and struck up a conversation with him.We was a WW2 vet and did 30 years.He went in as a E-1 and retired an O-4.He told me he landed on Tarawa with the SeaBees and Marines.I was honored to have the opportunity to listen to a real American hero,even though he never thought of himself as anything but a regular old guy.

    our local sheriff dept has always been friendly they have stopped by several times when were doing our back yard family and friends ammo wasting days always polite and talk about guns , but they always say if any one calls they have to follow up no matter but just hang around and BSA with us for a few minutes long enough to say they followed up
