This weather of 70s on one side and 40s on the other has spawned multiple storms and tornadoes on the ground in Missouri, Arkansas and Tennessee.
At the moment I'm safe, just a tornado watch. Stepped outside. Overhead there are stars and the moon shining down. Just to the east of me storms.
@danielgage posted that a nursing home was hit in Monette with deaths reported.
Storms are also to the north and west of me.

It mainly blew past us but the next county or two over got hammered with 70 MPH winds...
Prayers for your continued safety.
Sort of sitting between all the chaos at the moment.
@danielgage is somewhere in all of this as well.
Bono area
tornadoes went south and north of our house
I think last count was 7 different tornadoes
partial underground house is what I have
It's climate change and Build Back Better is going to fix it.
Stay safe!!!! Its a muggy, warm, nasty mess down here. We are expecting storms tomorrow.....nothing extreme from what I've seen. I hope you get through this without any damage.
sounds like more than few have been killed or injured per latest news
prayers to all
stay safe
Hot humid weather in Dec, particularly below the Mason Dixon is always a bad omen.
Forecast was for 8" to 10" we got 2" I am good with that.
It was ugly here throughout the storm. 60+ MPH winds, lightning, and rain. Our weather alert radio went off several times for storm warnings and tornado watches. The wind sounded like it was trying to take the roof off the house. It was after 4:00 am before I got to sleep this morning. I'm going to go out and look for storm damage in a bit.
Hope everyone came through it OK.
Joe
We made it through with no tornadoes in our county. We had high winds. Not sure about the speed of the gusts. At times it sounded as if the house was going to be peeled.
News says up to 100 dead in Kentucky. Roof collapse on an Amazon building in Illinois
Weather Channel reports that the lone super cell stayed intact and continuously created tornadoes for over 200 miles. Our local channel was reporting that it might have been one tornado on the ground for over 130 miles. They were tracking it with all their tech and never saw the hook dissipate.
Old barns and our hay wagons didn’t fare too well last night
Wondered how you fared. Was hoping that ridge between Bono and Jonesboro kept them away from you. Was it straight line winds or did you get hit by a twister?
I have family in Caraway and Paragould. They made it through okay. Cousin is member of Paragould FD and is out today helping with rescue/recovery effort.
tornado winds maybe in the air and not on the ground the whole time
edge of Crowley's ridge
prayers sent.
