Of torture being strapped into the Slingshot 2. Had my first post op follow-up appointment today. Stitches were removed. One hurdle jumped. Orders placed for physical therapy to begin immediately. I am NOT looking forward to that.
Doc said four anchors with two sutures per anchor were installed. Totally tore everything so it has all been reattached. Googled the procedure. I now know why it hurts like a son of a *****. They jab, poke, probe, rip and tear it like carving a pumpkin.
Four more weeks in the sling means my sleep is still going to suck. I'm thinking tomorrow I am gifting myself a recliner. Being vertically challenged I should be able to find one that fits me that is reasonably priced.
In the meantime I'm putting a cat wrap on it.

That's a furry heatin pad ya got there.
Do what the Doc says or it gets worse, my friend is facing total shoulder replacement because she didn't listen. She's only 55

We have 3 recliners that are used daily. I wouldn't be without them. After all the surgeries my wife and I have been through, they are a sanity saver.
Do exactly what they say in therapy and you will be back to normal, eventually. 😊
