Small cell lung carcinoma. I'm getting daily treatments of radiation and three days of chemotherapy every three weeks. Doctors are hopeful of full recovery but no guarantees. I should know in about 8 more weeks.

Well Brother, none of us have ever had any guarantee. I don't know you, but you look like a tough old goat, so just get it in your head that you are going to kick that cancer's *. I am sure a bunch of us on here will say some prayers for you. I know I will. Keep us posted.

Good luck as it seems a lot around here have got the "C" diagnosis recently. A neighbor lady was not feeling well and had only been to the doc a hand full of times in her 80 years. Well a Pet scan and hospice was called in.

Thanks to all of you for your well wishes. Hopefully it was caught early enough thanks to my annual lung scan provided at no charge by Medicare. I guess even the government gets it right once in a while.
