The same thing happened to me. I guess getting older entails getting sentimental also.
Thanks for the post.
Joe
Amazing what can be accomplished in a single night!
427 convertible with factory air.....Nice.
Daughter : " I learned to drive on that car...." that would have been cool.
Great post.
My son attempted to to something similar years ago for father's day on my '69 Firebird conv't. He didn't get much done yet. Actually, he didn't say what father's day!
Chevrolet never produced a tractor at the 13 second mark in the video. Is that a Ford 8N?
8N ,2N something like that
That was a great commercial, hard to watch without a tear or two.
nice commercial they hit a home run with that one .
I agree I think it was a year long process the crews were working nights to get it done for the next Christmas based on the wreath hanging it looked like a once a year tradition
and I would not complain if they dropped off the car at my house
Absolutely the best car commercial ever.
Great commercial. One of the few that does not insult your intelligence. The majority are mindless drivel.
+1 Don't know if I could take too many like that, but it's great.
Awwwwwwwww man, that was good. Dangit who has a kleenex?
Great commercial, thanks for posting it.
It was blatant and gratuitous but still effective. It took me a few years to feel comfortable driving dad's pickup.
l had a 66 GTO. Twas a grad present for making it thru class of 65. Freshman @ BCC. ''Four Speed and a Three eighty-nine''.. Sticker from Superior Motors in Orangeburg, October 1965, $3291.🤑
OK, after seeing the full length version (seen the short version on tv), it's more apparent this was a year long project. Very well done and touching . "Best Christmas present ever"? I should say so!
Even you guys that hate GM must agree that as far a commercials go, that was pretty good.
