what a shame...Gun collection

My wife's sil inherited a gun collection. About 10 guns in all. Some really nice firearms, but some have rust on them. The following need some care and rust removed. Colt Trooper Mark III CTG in 357, rust on end of barrel where left in holster. Remington 788 in 22-250, rust on the end of barrel. Marlin 30-30 JM marked, excellent condition. Nikko Golden Eagle 270win, excellent condition, looks to be unfired with all the paperwork. Couple of low end shotguns and 22's that are completely rusted to the core. 😣 This guy never took care of these guns and ended up in a mental health ward, until he passed. RIP. My sister in law also inherited a lot of ammo and about five to seven grand in reloading equipment and supplies. I'm trying to get a few boxes of primers. She had a twenty gallon plastic box full of primers alone. Two dillon presses 750XL, three rcbs rock chuckers, mec shotgun presses, tons of powder and bullets, over 50 die sets, electric case preps, digital powder dispensers and scales, about three of them and so on. It literally filled the bed of her short bed pickup!!!! She hit the lottery of reloading stuff, all in mint condition, except the firearms.

Breaks my heart to see guns done that way.

Had a guy bring me a Marlin 39 Mountie that was in really bad shape. Exterior of the metal was totally covered with aggressive rust and the wood set looked like it had seen five miles of gravel road. I don't know how, but the internals and bore were nearly unscathed.
