Just wondering how that handsome lab of yours is doing?

He's doin' pretty good, Todd! Thanks for asking! We arrived in Bozeman about 5:00 this evening so we can get him in for his first round of chemo at 8:00 in the morning. The surgery went better than expected and other than a slight infection is healing at a rapid pace. The growth of new bone to replace what was removed has been amazing according to the docs. An interesting thing about the infection is that for some reason dogs that get an infection following surgery tend to live longer lives than dogs that don't. The surgeon joked that they will do a wonderful job on the surgery, stitch it up perfectly, sterilize it 7 ways from Sunday and then spit in the wound so it gets infected.
The folks at this vet hospital (Bridger in Bozeman and Sentinal in Missoula) have been nothing short of outstanding to work with. One of the young docs doing his surgical residency (he graduated from OSU) lives in Kalispell and has offered to transport Thor to Missoula for us when his bandage changes are due.
You folks doin' OK over there in the decay of the once great state of Oregon? Got your bugout plan put together yet?
I was just wondering the same thing.
Sounds positive, wishing the best for the pup.
Check out the Powderhorn gun shop on north side of Main Street and the Western cafe also on north side of main, just a few blocks east of the Powderhorn serves a nice simple but good breakfast.
Mule
How about Frontier Pies, ate a few times there whilst visiting the vast wasteland. Very good food at the time.
It's very reassuring to have docs you like, can trust & who care.
Good to hear Thor is doing well!
Good news
Glad to hear it's going well, and hope it continues.
Sweet news! As Joe Biden would say "2020 is going to be a great year!"
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
Glad to hear
