I would walk to town and find pop bottles to sell to supplement my money made running a tractor on the baler. To buy BB's and arrows for my bow. Of course drool on the knives and guns on display.
Growing up in a small ,at that time ,rural county / town ,it seemed everywhere sold guns and fishing equipment
We had western auto ,store named music and sports, sears ,jc penny, belks,Casey's sport center and multiple hardware stores and several pawn shops . Now sadly there are only two gun stores and a two pawn shops that carry guns . Population has perhaps tripled or more .

Okie.................
That would be Oklahoma Tire and Supply Co.......OTASCO. I remember it very well.
I spent most of my childhood Summers in Anadarko, OK in the 1950's and early 60's.
I roamed everywhere, including the OTASCO for bicycle parts, BB ammo, and fishing stuff.
I really miss those days........and I'll bet that many guys on this board do too.
