At 94 he had a good life. I watch him in Lillies of the Field once a year around Easter. A very talented man!

the 1st movie i became aware of the actor was a Korean war movie, costarring Alan Ladd as a seargent not liking the idea of not being in charge, Sidney was not a combat officer but merely the highest rank with this rag tag unit joined up during a retreat. also appearing was the scandinavian heavyweight boxing champion, Ingamar Johannsen. good movie
he was a great one for sure . I remember as kid my mom even talking about a movie she wanted to see because he was in it ) have no clue which movie I was very young
I have watch some of his movies over the years he was good
Just saw him the other night in "The Jackal".
He was one of the best.
