I have a wooden Von .22 box just like his .
I would like the rhino head for a hood ornament.
Seller has a lot of negative feedback.
After watching ole Tom advertise Reverse Mortgages and make out like they are a good deal I don't want nothing that guy has. I would have to be hurting for money real bad before I would do that. I have lost a lot of respect for the guy.
Serial number look up lists as a 1957 Trooper in 22 lr and a 1968 Trooper with no caliber listed. The hammer spur is the older style, not the Python style also used on OM Troopers. The grips are sanded smooth, and the medallion may be gold which would indicate they originally came from a Python. The style and coloring look to be of the 1961 to (about) 73 style.
Not sure what to make of it or if DOM makes any difference.
