Weatherman has been blabbering for days about the snow we are suppose to get in South Carolina . It might even rain with a mix. It is the end of the world.

It is exciting to watch folks drive in the slush or snow.

It's especially fun watching cars with Southern plates drive up nort, in the snow and ice.

    God bless them...

I've seen it snow here in Florida three times in the last sixty five years and the weather guessers really just about wet themselves reporting it ALL NIGHT LONG like election returns. Weather folks really go all out drama queen at every opportunity.

Cracks me up when they are standing out on the sidewalk, wrapped up in a yellow slicker, breathing hard, proclaiming the voracity of the storm and in the background you can see that the bushes are barely moving and some old guy is walking his dog.

Well, I guess everyone needs their fifteen minutes ................................................. it's fair

Best round up the bread and milk, major necessity during any snow event.

Darned near that bad in north MO. Local TV station hired a new weather guy and he does his best to dramatize even a minor snow flurry or a couple days of cold weather.

Every snow day here in S.E. VA = multiple car pile ups !

This is by far the latest we have ever gone without an accumulating snowfall here in west-central Ohio. It snows all around us, but nothing here. 🤬

In my younger days, I worked as a body and fender man in Seattle. We used to call snow “job security”.

We are predicted to get 4-8 inches of the white stuff this weekend. I'll probably venture out today as it's been 10 days since I first tested positive.

High today is going to be 55 so good weather to do a few last minute errands. I need kitten food, cat litter and a few groceries. Also need to fill up the truck.

Around these parts we all grew up dealing with snow, ice, rain and mud. You know, the four seasons. 😆

..,Driving in/on snow isnt bad at all, but we get a lot more ice than snow...roads glaze over and just look "wet", but its like driving on an ice rink... slicker than Owl Poop...Common sense isnt the rule of the day, as it should be when that happens ...a 6" to 12" snowfall just about shuts everything down, and people grab anything to use for a sled & head for the closest hill they know of...

...Several years ago as freezing rain came down, bridges iced over first as usual, and some were l-o-n-g bridges...I sat on the service road off the highway at the end of one such bridge and watched dummies come off the end of the bridge, backwards, sideways and everything in between...hitting a few hundred feet of black ice at 70mph isnt too fun, or bright...the body shops do a jam up business after an ice storm around here...😊

Here in Michigan where I live most of the accidents I see that are weather related are either Bubba in a 4X4 or soccer moms with their new AWD SUV. Until they figure out that 4 wheel drive can get you going easier when it is slippery, but doesn't help with stopping, the first snow storms of the year are demolition derbies. Bob

Ever since Colorado became East California, it isn't safe to be out on the roads for a day or two after a snow / ice storm.

The first mistake all new 4wd drivers make !
