I went up front to the gun shop yesterday and saw this custom knife made here locally by a gunsmith and knife maker I knew back in the 1970's. Really nice work with a 4" upswept Persian style stainless blade and a very well done stag handle. I couldn't just leave it there!!

Is the Marvin in for a give away?😁
The 45/70 with the Leupold 1x4??? I gotta sell that.
Put a buy it now of about 200.00 and give me a heads up🙃
That is nice, Im a sucker for those kind of knives.
me too, l would buy that.
I'll give you $50 more than you paid for it. What a looker.
I will never understand how these things happen.
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
Soooooooooooooo, that's a no on my offer???
😎
I figured it all out some time ago. If you want to stay sharp after 60, you have to keep buying sharp things! 😁
Very nice knife there Ricci! It looks like it would fit the hand comfortably.
that blade has almost the right angle to scrape the inside of the coffee pot clean........
I just bought a new pot and it is spotless.
Nice
years ago i bought a custom knife at a show...deer bone with a 6" napped dark green flint blade...beautiful....maker told me modern glass melted would not nap but get the old insulators from a power line, melt them into blank and nap....i found a pile of those along a replaced line along a railroad and gathered a bunch...if i can find em
I have only a few handmade knives, none of them quite so elegant, but they have a "feel" that surely comes from the hands of the men who made them. There's a warmth, sometimes even a heartbeat one can sense in those knives. Holding one is like shaking hands with its maker - because you are.
I believe that one initial is supposed to be a J. Don
Well said!!!
