getting my old overalls on and loading up the side by side and heading out to the cabin to take down my hunting blind. only it is 26 outside and its 69 in the recliner with a nice hot cup of coffee beside me. they are calling for 4-8 inches of snow starting tommorrow so I will need to talk myself into it before afternoon. Think I will get another cup and think about it........

Know the feeling, sometimes it's tough to get started in the morning. Sure ain't as easy as it used to be....
It will be there tomorrow
I have the same feeling about going out to put my game camera back up. Except it is 4 degrees with a 20-25 wind so wind chill is well below zero.
Going to do it tomorrow it will be a balmy 25 degrees.
Think of your hunting blind as being like Christmas lights. They're much easier to take down in Spring.
Pace yourself my friend
I shoveled the driveway and sidewalks mid morning today. Ran to town to get a few things and now I am going to sit here and rot the rest of the day... Too cold and windy to do anything that can't wait.... Tunes from the 70's and some homemade beef soup on the stove. I won't need much more the rest of the day !!!
I can't get the picture of my thermometer on here. It says wouldn't allow. 24.7 below!
Didn't go out today, or yesterday, or the day before that.
Probably won't go out tomorrow either.
it's wintertime.
relax everyone knows you wait for warmer weather- as in when the new spiders hatch out and the snakes invite the mice over for lunch
I'm no amateurcrastinator; I'm a pro.
Some things just got to be done. Feed the dragon and deer come to mind. Dragon is outside wood fired water heater. Gotta Keep the Mrs. warm.
Windy, cold, snowy, lazy, and combination of other things
I need to go out to my shop but it's about 100 yards past the house and it's colder that a witches' ... well you guys know the rest. I've been thinking about it for about a week and have been successful (thinking about it).
That is why I like having my wood furnace inside. I do have to out to throw wood into bin I built in the cellar. Only have to do that once a week and try to use the warmer days.
But when wood is needed it is nice to just go down to the cellar and throw wood in the furnace.
Toasty 72 degrees in the house even when it was 10 below this morning.
I must be aging here! I'm able to relate to all those posts🤨
CBX, sounds like a mission accomplished😊
I made some improvements this year out in my hunting blind\shack. I had to drill an inch and a half hole through the wall to accommodate the fittings to run a 3\4" propane hose for an outside 20 pound tank. I got tired of those darn expensive throw away propane bottles. Anyway, I made one mistake that has to be rectified pronto and it is fricking COLD outside here in northern lower Michigan!!
The meeses have found that oversized hole and are chewing up my seat cushions, my reading material, and my sealed stash of hard candy!! I must do something!!
Well. Maybe if the temps get above the teens and the wind winds down some.....just MAYBE 😁
