Underwater volcano blew it's top not far from Tonga a couple hours days ago. The video is impressive!

There are now 50 erupting volcanoes worldwide, I believe.
If I don't drive my SUV today, that should counteract the climate impact, right?
Correct, it's you and I that are causing the climate to change.
Yes, leave your SUV at home and take your private jey.

Coworker today is a "Coastie". He's linked into a site that's just informed him they're moving the ships offshore. I see dozens anchored in the Columbia. If it happens, could get interesting.
What do you get when you cross the Columbia River bar with a tidal wave? Holy smokes, that could be a wild ride!
Wasn't there a movie about this ?
Wow, just saw the video feed of the eruption on the news, you could actually see the shock wave emanating before the plume started.
Pretty dang cool that it was caught camera.
Mule
everything is "caught on camera" somewhere.
No Dano. That electricity may well be produced by a coal fired power plant. Do the world a favor and use a hand saw.
😉
This is a sign. The world is in rough shape folks.
There are so damn many signs anymore that I just don't have time to read 'em all.
Truth
Signs, signs, everywhere there's signs.....,
I saw a show about tiny houses. Six members of the Boulder Colorado mountain bike club were building a tiny house way up on the mountain. They were obsessed with climate change. Rigged up little trailers for the bicycles, and hauled all the supplies up there with bicycle power. They had a cement mixer machine, and they hooked it to a bicycle, mixed all that concrete using bicycle power. No gasoline powered concrete. And of course, hand saws only. These guys were giddy with excitement, they really thought they were saving the planet.
What we see as sarcasm, the Greenies of Boulder see as fact, almost a religion with these Climate Change warriors.
Just ask people like that how much measurable change their sacrifice did. When they admit that if they made any change at all, it would be unmeasurably small, your next question should be "What's the point then?"
How much huffing and puffing peddling their bikes and putting CO2 in the air did they do?
They were so smug, and proud of themselves. They kept saying, "Zero carbon emissions for this tiny house!"
Well the bears will probably eat them all.
Which will cause the bears to have a massive case of indigestion and the release of copious amounts of methane which will negate their puny efforts of reducing greenhouse gas.😁 Bob
