Well it's snowing here

Snow is something you don't see around here south of Atlanta very often and especially during the day. It's usually to warm during the day. I bet the stores are full of people buying milk and bread.

We used to get snow regularly where I grew up in Tennessee back in the 50s and 60s which I loved as a kid but by the time I was older and had to work for a living I grew sick of it. Having to get up in the morning and dig my way out from the garage to the road was a real pain in the rear. I had an uphill drive way and I would shovel out 2 wide tracks for my car tires and then hurry back to the car and try to get out before the snow filled the tracks back up. More often then not I would get about half way up the driveway and then come sliding back down. Then I would try it again until I finally got out and by that time I was soaking wet with sweat. Yep those were the good old days.

I live in S.E. VA (Chesapeake), there was a mix of snow and sleet, this AM.

Turned to very cold rain about noon time.

I grew up in snow country -NJ & upstate NY, so I am fairly familiar about driving in bad weather.

Not so here. The mere mention of snow: ... schools close and multiple car accidents !

I only go out with the sun !

It's being willing. I found out early that most men, regardless of cause or need, aren't willing. They blink an eye or draw a breath before they pull the trigger. I won't. ~ J.B. Books
