What Does This Handguard (Top Wood) Fit?

I want to say Springfield 1903, but I'm not sure.

If you are sure, please sound off.

Yes, I have it priced too high, to discourage bidding until I can get it properly identified.

Thanks!

Looks like back section of p17 or p14 look up those as there is a chunk missing that goes into the receiver ring.

Agreed, It's a 1917 Enfield lower rear handguard. P14, (original British version) is much thicker at the back of the handguard.

I t almost looks like it may have been a P14 handguard and someone sanded or ground thinner the rear of the inside of it to clear the longer chamber of the 1917, as a 1914 handguard wont clear the 1917 barrel without modification.

Also agree that it is missing a little chunk where the barrel ring goes.
