Texas judge put a temporary stop to the covid shot mandate for federal employees and federal contractors! Step in the right direction! Anyone who WANTS the shot has already received it, and I have NO problem with that CHOICE. This will give power back to the people who chose NOT to get the shots.

Unfortunately is doesn't do anything for people in the private sector whos corporations have already bought into the vaccine or lose your job bs, I heard starbucks has dropped their requirement, but they are different than the big hospitals/pharma and drugstore corporations that are raking in the big bucks on the vaccines and testing.... The courts need to rule that no one/corporation or otherwise can mandate a medical procedure for continued employment, especially for the folks that were on the front lines for the last two years keeping their businesses open....

When I was in the Emergency room in the Hospital last Friday I looked around and all the TV monitors mounted on the upper wall were on Fox TV. They asked me about vaccine shots that I did not get and took a swab sample from each nostril. Nurses aid sitting to my right said " I was forced to get vaccinated but i did not like it one dam bit" I was surprised because i thought everyone in NY State watched CNN.---------------------Ray
It will not help people who work for private companies, not directly. BUT it very well WILL give those people standing if they choose to fight. Private companies were using the mandate as an excuse, that excuse has now been removed(at least temporarily). Hopefully common sense will prevail and people can keep their jobs, find better ones, or get back pay.
It's not the end all win all, but it is a giant step in the right direction!
I am against the mandated vaccine requirement,but I am also against the feds telling a privately owned business what they may or may not require from their employees.We cant have it both ways unless we want to change sides.
That's why the workers and public need to fight the private companies. I think mandates on the shot are dumb, govt or private business.....but it is the choice of private business. I chose to NOT support those businesses.
They ALL have to provide exceptions!! Well, by law they have to. None are, and that is why everyone needs to stand and fight back.
