NYC safer

Thank goodness they finally got rid of this evil statue! I am sure all of the residents can rest easier now that it is gone. Teddy Roosevelt's statue was removed from in front of the New York library where it had been on display for over 80 years. After all why have a statue of an actual American icon that did more good for the country than all of the liberal presidents added together.;

At least it wasn't destroyed and will be sent to N. Dakota. Bob

    Years ago during one of my many Sturgis trips I visited the Mt. Roosevelt Memorial/Friendship Tower just outside of Deadwood. Built by his friend Seth Bullock who also built the Bullock Hotel which still is in business. The tower is just 2.5 miles outside of Deadwood but I could only ride about halfway up. Then it was a hike the rest of the way. It is said to be a moderate hike but it wasn't for a guy getting close to 70!

    It's too late for me, save yourself.
