$74,000 Ford F-250 eco boost platinum, today at the dealers lot.
People are out of control. If ordinary people would STOP paying these crazy prices, then the prices would come down and fast. People have to keep up with the Jones' however! Most people buy brand new vehicles even tho their current vehicle is perfectly fine. People always want the latest and greatest, and they pay the price!
where are they getting all the money. no one i know has that kind of money.
Remember the old saying-The poor stay poor by living like they are rich and the rich stay rich by living like they are poor.
Rich folks tip like poor people and poor folks tip like they are rich.
So says my cousin who has been waiting tables for over 30 years.
My daughter worked in a bank and said people would come in and make $1500 car payments, while their rent was $600. For something as worthless as a GMC Tahoe.
Insanity. But then again these are people who think it's important to impress folks you don't even know.
Driving around the small town I live close to I see a lot of very nice expensive vehicles and motor homes parked outside of unmaintained old houses that are just a step or two above my definition of "shack's".
I first thought these people had a lot of company visiting. Nope! Not unless the company had been visiting for several years!
I'm looking for a used Jeep Grand Cherokee , found a 2019 Trail something
$ 84,000.00 stupid price
Saw a new Wagoneer inside Costco last week while on the way out. Looked nice, was larger than I had expected that they were but at 78k I was shocked!
Rich folks tip like poor people and poor folks tip like they are rich.
Ability to relate to another person's "situation" accounts for much of that disparity, not putting on "airs".
Wow
Mad Money
Wait a couple of years from now when the people who were foolish enough to have paid way too much for these cars go to trade them in and find out they are thousands of dollars upside down. People are under the impression that they DESERVE shiny new crap.
Unless it is a cash buy banks are not going to finance a vehicle or home that is over priced.
Had a good friend sell her house last month. House was in the range of $250,000 before FJB came in. Had a woman from New York offered 490K… Sold
went to the toyota dealer for an oil change and while waiting i walked over the "new car showroom" there sat a used tacoma for $27K and a used 4 runner for $24K. the lot had three corolla's waiting for their new owners to pick them up. nothing else to buy, you have to order it new and wait, no sales sharks in sight, all the offices were dark.
Sounds about right. Been in our home for 16 yrs and looking for another. Realtor gave us a stupid price she could sell it for. I have to believe her she sold a flip home for me this last summer and got way more than I would have thought at full price on the sale.
this ones at a local to me dealer , drove past it Friday

There was just now a commercial on TV for the Jeep Grand Wagoneer for $89K, ($110K as equipped)......INSANE!!!! No matter if it's car prices, home prices, energy costs, at some point this whole rotten thing will eventually come crashing down.
Insure it for replacement. Cover the costs. No big deal. I said yrs ago there would be two classes of folks. The ones that make it and the ones that fall.
You guys are makin' me appreciate my '04 Sierra 2500 HD more and more...
There will be a great reckoning soon, along with mass confusion & confrontation on many peoples.....this old country boy won't be amongst the indebtedness crowd. I've been preparing for this moment in history all my life, as printed in the bible " be neither borrower nor lender ".
"Never do wrong to make a friend----or to keep one".....Robert E. Lee
That's a steal for a used 4-Runner. Here in Anchorage used ones are going for $44k.
These high prices have me way beyond sticker shock anymore! I could easily change the name to "sticker electrocution" because I'd die of starvation making payments!
Family of #2 is expanding and they have to let go of her Camry. They got lucky and there was an unclaimed 4-Runner or Highlander rolling off the assembly line in April (can't remember which vehicle). The Camry is 3 years old. On the trade in they are getting sticker price. Absolutely no depreciation.
It's crazy out there. I could do the same thing with my 2500HD. Just wouldn't be able to find a new one or afford it.
Wondering if to sell Moms old 2005 Toyota Corolla S with 50k miles on it what it would bring ?
All this leads me to believe we've been seriously lied to about the true inflation numbers. 7%? LOL!!! More like 7% month over month for the past year.
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
If it didn't have that ugly split window in the rear it would be valuable.
And that brown would not be my first choice for a vette.
Send me some details about that 63' It might be valuable like Great Guns 69 Corvette. I hooked him up with a buyer and he made 200k profit.
Did that leave a mark? Don
No just a friendship . Known the buyer for yrs. Helped out someone who was ignorant about Corvettes.
No, I think Mark made him leave.

Those strange builds bring super money when you resto mod it.
Yea, he invested the 200k in Kinkos (Kamilly spoke off)so us country people could use a copier. He is the best short order cook in MT. I have heard.
The Artist.

5,000.00 and will bring good tires and trailer ASAP.🤑
I thought all y'all knew that was not his car! Don
It is not that things are suddenly worth more, it is that the American dollar is suddenly worth less.
