Out for a drive just before sundown this evening.....a few pics

I drove over to the conservation area near our place and there were lots of cardinals out and about tonight.
There were two eagles near the lake and this one one was perched about 250 yards away in a tree. The first deer pics were taken at 350+ yards on the other side of the area. The final pic was about 4 miles away on the way home..... All told I saw 2 different eagles and 23 deer. There was a decent buck, but he was in the trees so I could not get him. But now I know where to look !

We are blessed to be located in a great area. Lots of whitetails, eagles, hawks, yotes etc...the down side is you have to avoid hitting them on the road from time to time !! Every year some poor MC nails a deer. Usually not a good outcome for either of the parties
Time to take up hunting Dano...either with a firearm or at least a camera !!!
