What a day
This morning I plugged up the john, then this afternoon I got a letter from Ohio Jobs and Family Services. That is where you apply for Medicaid, unemployment, etc.
They sent me a 1099 showing the amount I collected on unemployment. The only problem is that I have never filed for unemployment, nor did I receive over $6,000 from them.
Then the fun begins. Someone used my identity to file for these benefits, using my hacked information. I had to file fraud reports to J&FS's, The Ohio State Patrol, all 3 credit reporting firms Ohio Attorney General, US Dept of Justice, which in turn apparently gets forwarded to all the pertinent Federal agencies.
It only took most of the afternoon to wade through the forms from all the agencies. Then when I got done I got to get out the closet eel and unplug the toilet.
I think I'll go take a nap now.

Well, crap.
Wife had the SAME problem in Illinois. Let me tell you getting ANYTHING done with the system here is might impossible. Ohh yea, 1099 and still trying to get somebody that CAN do something. It happened at the hospital she worked out. They said dozens of people got hacked and the culprits made a lot of money and will never be caught.
As far as the bathroom issue, I offer no advise except Drano Gel Super Max and drink some Bud Light, nothing will get clogged up with that.
In our local paper they have the police logs.
During COVID shut down it was unbelievable the number of people reporting fraudulent unemployment filings to the police.
Maybe you need more fiber for a less stressful day.😓
Literately ........................ 😉
To be fair do you suppose the guy(s) that stole your identity might need the six grand to pay for grannies heart surgery? Unemployment fraud is in the tens of billions of dollars across the nation. Wanna bet how many of the perps are illegals?
Dammit.
IRS will send you a special number for taxes for the rest of your life.
