For a standard or heavy weight barrel and what version, A,B,C,D,orE?
It is a tapered barrel made in 1931 according to the serial number. Tapered barrel is still quite heavy. No prefix or suffix on the serial number. Thanks for the response.
It's a Standard weight barrel with a muzzle diameter of approx 3/4". Is The front sight ramp is machined with the barrel?. Can you post pics?

This rifle has holes just forward of the receiver spaced at .85, about a third of the way up the barrel spaced at .55 and at the
muzzle also space at .55. All are #6. Thank you for the response. My intent is to put target sights on it.
