I needed a part for a MK4 pistol, about $25 or $30, so I call Ruger and talk to a nice lady right here in N.C. The part is shipping to me; NO CHARGE!! The first time I remember calling them was around 1975 and every time they have gone out of their way to help.

Ruger is a class act, I have returned approx 5 firearms a year for repair, never a shipping charge or a repair charge. I still buy American when I can....
They have been great the couple times I dealt with them...
i totally agree, and i have had good service from Browning also.
I love Ruger
Never had to call them but the information helps
I love all of my Rugers. One of them has 4 legs and a short tail.
One of the few left that has kept its promise as far as warranty, SW & Colt Suck,
It's been a couple years, but Colt went above and beyond for me. Paid shipping both ways, and upgraded my request.
Had one problem, with one out of a bunch of Colts.
Had a problem with one out of one, with a Ruger, to be blown off by Ruger CS back in the nineties. Never again.
S&W was always good. Mossberg, they're useless.
Way back when, Ruger wanted me to send my three screw 22 caliber single six in for modifications. I told them hell no. I still have it and it only has the three screws. I might be wrong, but I think it is more valuable as it is without the modifications.
Ive got a limited run GP100 that they would not give me any info on?
Several times over my 79 years I dealt with CS at Redfield Scopes. Never known a company to care so much about customers. Slipped on rock in middle of hunting season once and broke scope in half at adjusting ring, Sent 1x4 tv style for repairs and in less than a week i had a brand new 13/4 x 5 tv style nc. Of course they are no longer with us.
Years ago sent a model 70 target 30-06 back to Winchester. It had split open from recoil at bolt handle cutout. In less than one week they restocked rifle in New Haven and I had it in my hands.--------------------------------Ray
I have a single six 1974 vintage with star frame. They refuse to give total mfg. I think they say for competive reasons????????????? Some say Ruger Collector Association will help.---Ray
Well, I didn't love Bill Ruger.
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
I have no clue how efficient Glock customer service is. I have never had a need to contact them.
They repaired my 44 mag. Blackhawk at no charge. Letter back to me suggested I cut down on the "power" reloads I was using. I called them and thanked them. AND they were right on🙄
Way back when I sent my 45 cal New Frontier back to Colt because those big heavy slow bullets were unscrewing the barrel. The sights didn't line up very good. They had the gun back to me in 2 weeks and sent a check that covered the cost of shipping the gun to them. Another time I sold a customer a Ruger Red Label and after the sale the customer came back in to the store to show me that instead of 5 different choke tubes he only had 3 different ones because he had a couple duplications. I reached over and grabbed the phone and called Ruger, explained the problem and they sent him an entire set of 5 and told him to keep the originals as extras. At the time that was about $150 worth of chokes. Good folks to deal with. Bob
Ruger recently updated the safety/decocker assembly on my old P85. They paid shipping both ways and had it back to me much sooner than they had originally said they would. It even came home with a new 15 rd magazine.
