We had a parade going through the back yard.

My wife and I were eating dinner and something caught my eye in the backyard. It was a young doe walking eastbound from the west woods, she was followed a bit later by 2 more does. Then young buck came out of the woods and joined the parade. Shortly followed by 2 more young bucks and another doe.
I guess the party is going to happen in our east woods. I should get a game camera or two.

Sounds like a dinner parade.
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
It makes you wonder what goes on when you are not looking. We have hundreds of tracks in the backyard from all kinds of animals, all probably looking for food, I would assume.

Isn't that the truth. Our alarms go off at night to the point I wanna shut them off.
I put up a motion-activated light on the barn years ago that comes on every night at some point from animals wandering around.

We have a skinny little cat named Twitch that loves to go down the road to see our elderly Dutch neighbor who lives alone. Once she told us how Twitch came to visit and then she remarked about our new "very big" grey cat! She said they were playing, Twitch was running up the road and the grey cat was following her.
It was a Canadian Lynx!
yup. Camera time.
I just took the battery out of my camera and have it charging. Then I'm going to put the camera on the table so I can capture some of these moments. I should have done it years ago.
