Took a deep breath today and tried to have a normal day........

With all the business with my son and the great news of today, I felt like I could let down a might and do some normal activities today....
Spent and early morning with Martha and then took care of some tax/paperwork items for the farm. Headed out early in the afternoon and hiked about 3.5 miles around the nearby conservation area. I watched eagles, did a little shed hunting and ended up at a lake where I wet a line for a while.
No fish but as it was 65 out, I was just happy to be in the sunshine and glorious outdoors ! I had a chance to defrag my brain and put some energy into other thought processes...
Arrived home about 445 and lit the grill. Brats and salad made for a great supper. My son and I sat out on the porch in the evening just talking about life....Martha was there to add her two cents in the conversation !
It was a good day...Hope yours was too..
