Not ever gonna be a "Gunsmith" and cannot afford professional tools, but i am building a few ARs just for the fun. I see several roll pin kits w/hammers for less than 50 bucks including one made by Wheeler (china) what are your recommendations folks?

I found this bench block made things a lot easier best 40.00 that I spent
Thanks @toad67 I found same exact kit on Amazon same price and I get free shipping, it will be here tomorrow. The one I saw previously only had hammer and pins (more sizes) and was more money. This seems exactly what I need.
@savage170 I'll see if I can find one of those.
Thanks again guys!
The brand name is Real Avid. There is some other brands out there that is cheaper but are for more universal applications
Midway does carry them
I never really cared for the hammers in any of the kits, I like a regular ball peen hammer the best.
My AR bench kit contains 4 and 8 ounce ball peen hammers. Didn't know there were special 'roll pin hammers'.
savage-Friend of mine has that same tool and swears by it.
i have a coupe of the roll pin sets one extra log and one normal set after doing the first AR i bought a roll pin "starter " set they have a small point that fits into the roll pins also a couple small ball peen hammers and assorted tools to make it easier including the bench blocks then added a few more specialty tools to make it easier a little at at time
I picked the small ball peen hammers up on flebay used and inexpensive . I had a craftsman 3 drawer tool box from a locval auction I was not using its plastic but looks new I just put all the tools for the builds in . like the torque wrench , lube . barrel wrenches castle nut .... well all the tools I need to do them it weighs a ton thought LOL
@savage170 well it took several days of checking a few sites, but I finally ordered the block you suggested, I could have order it the same day, but I was shopping around for best price and found it on a Texas based website I have purchased things from in the past, got it for just about $30 including shipping (shipping spread across 2 items) I also picked up a magpul armorers wrench.
