Got a message on my phone today from the closing attorney on the Mobile Home Park. Buyer is wanting me to discuss the closing that took place 5.5 months ago on a three way call.

HELLO-HELLO-HELLO
Can you do it on zoom, I might also be interested in the details. ;)
Maybe they want to give you more money!
I remember buying the place . My attorney was the assistant prosecutor for the county. Seller used his attorney. After close I was high as a kite owning the property. Then a few days later I get a letter from the sellers attorney. I owed more money since the property was in different parcels they didn't charge enough for deed stamps. I took the letter to my attorney. He called her up and his tone was very strong and mean toward her. Said he was going to lunch and IF she did not record those deeds he would have her license for unethical practice. They were recorded that day. I recall his words before I left... He said Son when you leave a closing everything and I mean everything is done. No changing anything. Just remember that.
That would be why they call it CLOSING.
Yes it is. I will have no contact with his attorney or the buyer. Buyer could have called me up but chose to use his attorney to get whatever they need.
He wants you to buy it back, the tenants are driving him nuts.
A buyer's attorney wanted me to pay for things that are normally paid for by the buyer. So I told him no deal & hung up. The buyer called back & said that if his attorney screwed up the deal, he would punch him in the face. I was soooo tempted, but the buyer was a good guy & willing to pay for everything.
SF, I like your attorney! That puts him on a very short list.
I sold a house some years ago and like you, I was contacted months after the closing and informed that the title company had made some kind of an error and they wanted me to return something like $3500. , I told them to direct their calls to the title company as we have already had the "CLOSING" and the money reinvested.
They only gave it the one shot though and I never heard another word about it.
That would not surprise me ..only he would try legally to try and make me buy it back. No clue what is going on and frankly just don't care.
