If you have to ask who is Roy Rogers, you're not eligible to win
What else you got? Don
I acturally shook his hand at the Chicago Stadium as a VERY young kid!
I remember watching that show every time it was on. The one thing I could never wrap my head around was Pat driving around in a Jeep while almost everyone else rode horses, and acted like they were back in the 1800s.
Joe
Roy was my cowboy hero 70 years ago. For whatever reason, Trigger was housebroken. If any of you have seen "The Adventures of Robin Hood" with Errol Flynn, that was the horse Olivia DeHavilland rode.
Bills. How many ya want??
I'm in
toss my name in
like many as a kid Saturday was TV and Roy Rogers
even as a kid I found it odd every one got shot in the hand or just winged
Not much has changed, Ditch-Runner. I'm always amazed how some of the TV shows have a guy take out the bad guy at quite a distance using a .38 snubby shooting from the hip.
Nice give away Joe, I remember watching the show as a kid, but leave me out as it would just collect dust in my house I'm afraid.
yor sregor dvds if you play them backwards.......
Factoid: There were two 24-foot-tall fiberglass replicas made of Trigger, One went to the now defunct Roy Rogers Museum, and the other one stands atop the Denver Broncos football stadium. After those two, the mold was destroyed, per RR's orders.
Edit to add: I am NOT in the giveaway.
I'm in............thx
Winner: Ditch Runner
Send a PM with your mailing info and we'll get this out to you this week. @Ditch-Runner
Didn't he have "Trigger" mounted?
Trigger passed in 1965 and was mounted & displayed in Rogers' museum. When it was closed, RFD TV bought it at auction & is now at their headquarters.
Thanks Joe
I sent my info let me know if it does not show up
will add the shows had big impact on me in many ways one small way was Bullet (and Rin tin tin of course ) I decided as a kid a German Shepard was what I wanted when I grew up ... yep big dreamer LOL
just after my wife and I were marred we went on search for our 1st Shepard found one it was a girl we named "Ginger" she was the first of many in our lifes . great dogs miss all of them
Got the info.
Shepards have always been my favorites. Have had several also.
thanks Joe
You are welcome.
Cool give away Joe.
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
