Is there such a thing as an ACCOUNT MANAGER with Fed Ex or UPS?
I have had it with the US Postal Service. We paid nearly $90,000.00 to them this past year and they treat us like garbage. They have FOUR claims where they have destroyed things this year without any luck getting the claim taken care of so far....but we are not letting it go on any of them. They send random carriers here when my regular lady is off and its NEVER ok when that happens. I had to chew one girl out because she refused to scan the boxes....it turned out she didn't know how to operate the little machine, so I made her unload the boxes from her vehicle and I had them send someone else out. Another time this gal showed up WREAKING of pot and I couldn't dare let her drive off with my shipping and felt like I needed to call the law on her rather than have her out on the roads. It just too much at this point. I need to go with another company if I can.
I do NOT want to just start creating labels and have them picking my items up....I want an actual person that I can call when crap goes downhill. I don't have time to be in phone limbo, speaking with people that barely speak English, or aren't even human.
UPS is notorious with the added "surcharges" so I'm leaning toward Fed Ex a bit, but I haven't had any luck getting a person who knows what I'm talking about. For the money we spend in shipping, you would think there was someone out there who would go a bit out of their way for our business???

I don't know about an account manager but I found the home # for a UPS Distribution Center manager. I called him at dinner time on a Saturday & explained that I received another, "we're too dumb to find your house card." My regular driver delivered the package Monday & showed me a map to my house laminated to the back of the routes clipboard for fill in drivers.
I finally got a call from Fed Ex....a nice lady seemed to be excited to work with me and she is going to research things and get back to me. HOPEFULLY this begins our new shipping routine.
Good luck with Fed Up, I've always had issues with them.

I just had a gun left on the doorstep of an abandoned building with homeless people living inside. I paid $8.50 for an adult signature like every gun I ship. The lady at the post office there told me her carrier admitted to signing the slip himself and leaving the gun there. She assured me he would be delt with.
UPS just two days ago left 4 firearm's on my dealers door which leads to his shop directly 20 feet from a highway. I was driving by and knew he wasn't open and picked them up. NO SIGNATURE from anybody which was required. It is not just you, the whole system is in shambles, UPS, Fed My Ex USPS.😑
