Improvise, Adapt, & Overcome….Marine Corps Style!

Got to love the adaptive skills of my Marine brothers! I’m sitting here in the town of Quantico, waiting on a pizza. Four young guys just stumble out of the “Command Post Sports Bar.” One falls down, can’t walk at all. The other three talk for a minute, then one disappears around the block. A minute later, he returns with a wheel-barrow. The three commence to load their buddy into it. One pushes, one holds his legs in the front, and one directs the operation. They then cheerfully (and loudly) make their way down the block and out of sight. Hilarious!

Did they bring the wheelbarrow back?

Good question. I didn't stick around long enough to find out. When they came out, the guy found that wheel-barrow pretty quickly. Maybe they pre-staged it in anticipation of their shenanigans.....or maybe the bar (being a go-to spot for 25,000 young Marines) keeps a few contingency wheel-barrows available to their patrons. 😁
When you come home by wheelbarrow, you know you are partied out.
what three more could carry the fellow to the car / cab
and where do you get a wheelbarrow at any given time
but no matter they left no man behind Good for them 😊
I had a Marine helo land in my yard a couple of years ago.
Used to buy ammo cans from Government Liquidation. I guess it was required to stencil EMPTY on the cans. I bought from the local Marine base several times. At first I bought some with EMPTY stenciled on the cans. Later I noticed some were stenciled EMP. Later I was surprised to see ammo cans stenciled MT.
