Such an awful mess that begs our assistance yet if we cross a line we could start WW3. My heart hurts for all involved.
I'm inclined to agree with most of the information coming out of Ukraine, including Russian casualty figures. Ukraine has no need to inflate numbers or boost body counts since they are the obvious underdog.
To give the devil his due; Putin brought Russia out of two deep economic crisis. Never mind the oligarchs with their mega yachts, Putin essentially created a Russian middle class where non had existed before. Ordinary Russians now had the chance to live a western European lifestyle, something that their parents in the old Soviet Union could have never imagined.
If you do a deal with the devil, the time comes to pay up. In a flash, it's all gone away: the Ruble isn't even worth a penny, I-phones were shut off, the internet was shutdown, credit cards won't work, You can't get to your own money in most banks, no one can purchase spare parts for their BMW, and NETFLICS pulled the plug (so to speak).
The worse is yet come as sanctions bite deeper into the Russian economy.
What susie said. Tough sleddin' over there no matter how you slice it.
May be more Russian aircraft shot down than we know about.
Rumored the got two migs today, Stingers work very well.

I saw the sad news the other day about the ace fighter pilot that shot down several Russian fighters. His number came up, his plane was shot down and he was killed.
