I am prone to bloodclots, they call it unprovoked clotting, I just throw them for no reason and on 2 bloodthinners permantly now, my last one was a massive pulmonary embolism right in the Y that goes to both lungs it was teeter tottering in the Y. I got a helicopter ride to pittsburg for that one. after all the doctors left I finally ask the nurse there in ICU just how big it was as I couldn't get a straight answer from any of the doctors. He told me say a normal clot is the size of a pencil lead, a big clot is the size of a pencil eraser, mine was the size of a hot dog! and it was teetering back and forth. they finally got it reduced/gone after like you taking clot busters and thinners every 4 hours for almost a week.
If you got a good doctor they know what they are doing and with the lords help will get it figured out and you back to normal, but you have to do WHAT THEY SAY AND NO MORE! they have their reasons for putting restrictions on your activity. prayers for you and yours
Wow, I hope you guys get straightened out and back to normal. I guess I was lucky with my by-passes, I just had a little tightening in the throat before the 5 bypasses.
Glad to hear your still hanging in there. I hope you do even better in the future.
What you said about over doing it has got me thinking now. I'm planning on starting back to doing yard work next week. I had 3 stents put in back a few months ago so I think I'll be extra careful and make a lot of rest stops in the beginning. Hey you might have saved my life with your post. God is good.
God is good..... I think you temped fate one too many times already !!! Prayers for what lies ahead, wisdom for the Doctors and peace for you and your family....
Thank you gents, it brings me so much hope and encouragement reading your replies. I decided to take myself off the throne of my life for awhile, and let God have a go at it. He has a plan and he will show the doctors exactly how to go forward. You know that verse about trusting in the Lord with all your heart and not leaning on your own understanding? I’m there, and He is making my path straight.
God is good but I sure do wish he'd be a little more proactive and head off these bad things before they happen. People say God must have been with him to survive that crash. If he'd been there a little sooner the crash would never have happened.
