The only markings are what you see in the pics posted and "krupp-laupstahl" on the underside of the barrel. Buffalo horn trigger guard. Guessing the caliber is 6.5x52r just by measuring what we can. Anyone have any input???

That may be a "Stalking Rifle" ?????
They are illegal in the United States.
Don't know who made it but the Krupp-Laupstahl indicates rust resistant steel. The other markings I believe indicate that it was proof tested for copper jacket bullets at a 8 gram level. Bob

We've got it figured out.....luckily there is a scope that was in the lot that had a tag on it describing the gun it went with. Its not ready, but here is a link to the info.

just my opinion, but the scope should be included with the rifle in this case.
