This is a Browning Superpose shotgun was purchased in 1963. Serial number is 12492S3. I am trying to get some idea how much it is worth. It has some wear, but is in better than good shape, I think. In carring case.

Impossible to do without pictures to determine grade and actual condition. Barrel length, chokes, gauge can also have major influences on price. With only the info given, I can guess somewhere between $1500 and $10,000 and that isn't much help. You could look on the auction side, under completed auctions, to find one comparable to yours and see what it sold for. Bob
GAUGE has much to do with it as condition. HIGH end condition bring the coin, plus factors as cut buttstock, ect. As above pics. and check completed auctions with your gauge, condition.
12 gauge, full and modified. 28" barrel.
Here is a link to a standard field grade 12 with less blueing wear than yours that recently sold. No case with this one so in slight of yours showing more wear I believe yours would sell for about the same. I can't tell from your pics what the condition of your stock is and if there is any damage like cracks or if it has been shortened the value would be less. Bob
IMO, shooter grade, nice, with case, 1,000, 1350 --retail
Thank you for your insight.
