Any of you guys have one? Any suggestions about which models? Looking at the Skywave.

I have one...CC Radio EP. I had it about eight weeks and it wouldn't hold a station. When you turned the tuning knob it would slip. I contacted Crane, and they told me I could return it to be repaired..........for sixty-five dollars. I said no thanks. No more C Crane Chinese radios for me.
I have the CCRANE radio 2E. This is a great radio.
Costs $162. I listen to it about 6 hours a day. Great reception especially on am. I have been listening to CCRANE radios for 25 years. Love to listen to Coast to Coast at 2am on my CCRANE radio. It takes 4 of the big D cell batteries, they last for hundreds of hours.
I had a friend that used Cc radios. his only complaint was the digital display did not last and had to guess where the station was. We have two G E superadios and they work good. The mechanical dial is not accurate but usable.
used to listen to coast to coast when I worked midnights, the last 6-8 years I couldn't get AM reception at work anymore, can barely get it in the vehicles anymore, used to love to listen to alot of those UFO, and bigfoot, folks who were, or so it sounded, about a half bubble off............... sometimes old George would get them really wound up
Art bell. Land of nye
Art was a great host! The new guy George Noory is not half as good. In fact I am listening to Art right now on my CCRANE on am 570, they replay his old shows from 9 until 1 am on Saturdays.
The FM radio in my shop (metal building) has stopped picking up the only radio station I listen to.I have about a 20 ft outdoor antenna and it came in fine for years and now more interference than sound. Is there a FM radio that works better for distant signals?
I have listened for a few minutes a time or two. I get the feeling the guy, George? doesn't really believe all that mess either. Are there UFO's sure, there are lots of things flying around that people can't identify but that does not mean they are flown by aliens. And bigfoot?? Really?? I feel sure someone would have shot some and had the heads hanging on a wall by now. People believe a whole lot of weird stuff.
I think that UFOs piloted by aliens have visited earth, but never have had an experience with one. We used to have a forum member named zipperzap who had a fantastic encounter with one while camping in the southwest. He described it in vivid detail on the forum.
Bigfoot I have a hard time with. Not a single Bigfoot corpse to examine?
I know ghosts are real as I have had several encounters with ghosts in a house in Atlanta.
Anyway I like to listen to the stories.
By the way it was due to Coast to Coast that I bought my first CCRANE. Art Bell used to advertise them all the time.
Art Bell was a gentleman. I have a Crane radio that I bought over twenty years ago. I haven't used it in over five years, so I am not sure if it still works or not.
I scored one while helping a bro clean out his pops' place. Only gripe I got is if you unplug it it forgets the station. Since I didn't pay it's not bad.
I'll have to check the model but I'm sure it's old (Art Bell era).
put in the batteries. 4 D cells, they will last 200 hours.
