I prefer Maker's Mark.
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
Had about 30 of ‘em walk thru my back yard yesterday. Have lots of turkeys here. They are a nuisance sometimes. Their poop is nasty stuff!
Remember ol' Woodshed? He made some fine turkey calls.
I have one of his calls.....sounds great.
good luck
by the way Ben Franklin wanted our national symbol to be the wild turkey not the eagle
Good luck.
Yes I have several of Ol' Woodsheds calls, alas I have lost track of Woody and his wife Dori. I wish them both well, wherever their path has led them
They work fine
Good eating even the legs & thighs if done right. Lots of them around, good to see.
Legs are too tough to make soup out of!
Fillet the breast and pressure cook the rest. Make great soup and pot pies. These just came through this evening. Working their way back up out of the river bottom.
That just reminded me, I bought two to support a dog surgery or something of those lines.
I’m not a turkey hunter so they are collecting dust on my knife shelf, until Grandson and I decide to try turkey hunting.

June used to feed all of God's creatures behind our house. We had a regular zoo that visited at different times through out the day and night.
