I recently bought a Remington model 12 22 rifle with a model number of RW 336805 ... could someone help me identify the year of manufacturing for this gun ?

If RW is the date code on the left of barrel then 1928. I THINK.
OK, IF there is no date code on the barrel on the left in front of receiver then it was made prior to 1921.

That is not the manufacturing date. On the left side of the barrel, just a head of the receiver there will be two letters, that will give you the date. Post and I or someone else can give you the date built.
