Russians Tried to Sell Stolen Ukrainian Goods in Belarus, Officials Say (businessinsider.com)

l know almost every lnvading army since the beginning of time has done this. Most troops try and bring home a souvenir. These animals are stealing refrigerators, washing machines, cars. Even enslaving Ukraine captives.🤬

Probably retribution for the tanks that were abandoned and stolen by the Ukrainians.

Their tanks were on private property and should never have been there in the first place. Somebody pulls up in my yard in their car and fires on my house plus they are stupid enough to run out of gas then that car is going to be mine.

I totally agree, I was just pointing out how they think since they were the aggressors.

In one a small city which had been captured by the Russian and later recaptured by Ukrainian forces, several undamaged cars sat in a parking lot which had been painted with a variety of symbols. When the reported inquired, a Ukrainian solider said that each car was "claimed" by an individual Russian who planned to take the car back to Russia. As @fatcat458 said, this sort of thievery isn't new: when the Iraqi Army was running out of Kuwait, many were driving stolen cars.

Rumor has it that the Clintons looted the White House when they left.

""The Clintons’ spokesperson’s statement clearly stated every item they took had been reviewed as a gift to them.

So while the Clintons did receive a high value haul of gifts during Bill’s presidency, at the time these items were labelled and taken as gifts. While this amount can be argued to be inappropriate, it is not accurate to describe it as stealing and their symbolic return of $86,000 worth of these gifts cannot be implied to be an admission of stealing.""

Napoleon's army looted Moscow since the Russians abandoned it. They had to carry it home. On foot since they ended up eating their horses. In the Russian winter. It went very poorly for the French.

The majority of the Russian soldiers that fought their way to Germany had never seen electric lights, plumbing, underwear, couldn't figure out what a bra was. When they got back to Russia, Stalin put them in the gulags to keep them from fomenting dissent over how well the Europeans lived.

There's another old saying, Senator. "Don't piss down my neck and tell me it's raining."
