Don't know if they're still made, but a few years back I was interested in a laser cartridge insert and target that registered your hits. Too expensive for me at the time and I never got one.
Was looking at a Simmons Laser Bore Sighter today ($30.00)
Seems like that might help "call" your dry shots, or at least give a good sense of your steadiness on target.
Worth trying?
