A full belly from breakfast, and some small plans for this afternoon... You?
Savage 410 er for the O/U 😃
Only own one 12 gauge, would probably like to have a 410, but not high on my priority list... just milling out the last ar 80% lower I have and drinking beer between adjusting the router depth...
An old H&R single shot.
Western Field 410 pump 3" with C-Lect choke.
Stevens Model 9478 single shot 410 3"
Monitor double barrel 410 2-1/2"
Then there's this sweet pea:
A couple of Winchester 42s and another one made by Miroku. I do like them pump-em-up guns. Bob
Oddly enough, I never had a .410. I had 28 gauges, but no .410s.
MY first gun was ( still have it ) a ithica single 66 410 . my dad bought from a co-worker for 8.00 he said the fellow needed gas money started out asking 12.00 then each day came down a couple dollars this was back late 1960's when he brought it home . I locked on to it like a boy and a new puppy dog LOL so it became mine . I have not shot it for 40 years or so . nothing special by any means just the memories of that day .
Remington 1100 Light Field in .410.
If you want to learn to be humble, take that and go shoot a round of Sporting Clays. I have learned to be VERY humble!
It has a different meaning for me.
I mean......that on 4-10-79, the sixth most (at the time) destructive tornado in recorded history......missed me, personally, by about 400 yards.
Big???.......It was up to 1.5 miles in diameter.....on the ground. About 25,000 people were made homeless......and 45 not surviving.
Known as Terrible Tuesday......ever since.
Mine is a "Cavalry" O/U sold by American Tactical. I bought it on impulse mostly because I didn't have a .410. When I brought it home, my wife claimed it as hers. She can't open the gun by herself but she loves to shoot it with 1/2 ounce of 9's and can hit hand thrown clays about half the time with the IC screw-in chokes.
My dad's old Mossberg Bolt Action 410 DB
My 410 has a .22 below it. Savage..
