Over in a gunshop in nearby Vermont this morning. A friend was buying an Inland M1 Carbine. He could not take it back to New York State with the bayonet lug attached....Andy Cuomo's Safe Act. They were having trouble removing the front sight to slide the bayonet lug off. They were pounding on the sight pins with a ball peen hammer and an ill fitting punch.

I was getting light headed and had to go sit down. I told my buddy to forget it and walk away...they were going to damage the gun. Let somebody in Vermont buy it as is and enjoy it. He did.

I'd have put my head between my legs, but my beer belly got in the way....😮
