first. i listed an item as actual shipping to your zip code. my item sold. G.B. showed shipping as $35. i took the item to the post office and actual shipping is $46.30. is the buyer obligated to pay my shipping or what G.B. listed?
second . does G.B. take their fee from what i get , charge my card, or send me a bill

GB takes their fee from the hammer price. If the item sold for $1,000 their fees are based on that amount. How you pay depends on how you account was set up for billing:
Your Selling Account – GunBroker
Making a Payment on Your Account – GunBroker
How would Gunboker know what shipping costs? That feature should be eliminated.
Apparently "actual shipping" as stated in the auction, is $46.30
WOW, Never knew that GB could estimate shipping. I always put what I think is more than fair and never have done that way or knew you could I can't see HOW GB could get it right with so many variables.
To save the peace I would eat the costs and move on and do a flat rate next time. imo only..
I only bid when there's a fixed shipping amount. Seller assumes the shipping cost risk, but in return I'm willing to bid a bit more given the certainty of my actual costs. As for jwb267, I agree with Grasshopper...eat the difference and have a flat rate next time.
i ship by zip code and weight . no one gets cheated
how can you set a shipping rate for your neighboring state such as Maryland then have to send the item to California?
