And any help with year on mfg
I’m gone miss perryshooter on this god bless his soul
cant read the serial
my book says number to colt in 1912 any other inspector markings
I haven’t found any but haven’t taken grips off yet
Not under grips ,take off slide and look at the flat on frame or by the trigger area
My book (Clawson) says it was made in 1914.
Condition is too poor for most collectors. Not valuable, no telling what someone is willing to pay.
Thanks I’ll pull the slide and see what inspector marks are there I’m sure it’s not going to be all colt perryshooter did teach me this when the gi’s cleaned there weapons they threw everything but the lower in a pot of boiling water to clean them and what ever they pulled out went back on the lower
Not very pitted. Could be made to look pretty (reblue). someone would pay $500 +- $200. That's my SWAG.
