"The Boys"
Just got the seasons 1 and 2 so my weekend will be watching this and awaiting delivery of my '96 GMC Safari (I think they said '96). My first OBD2 ride. I watched a few episodes and the guy who brought us "Supernatural" Eric Kripke is the writer. Did a looksy on imdb on what he's been up to and I found out they did a spin off titled "Winchester" kind a wished they did the spin offs for lady Sheriffs and the "adopted" girls of that show.
I saw Simon Pegg so I wonder who else will be on? I see Giancarlo Esposito (Gus the chicken man from "Breaking Bad" is on there. Jensen Ackles (Dean from "Supernatural"), Sean Patrick Flanery (Connor from "Boondock Saints"), Jim Beaver (Bobby also from "Supernatural") from looking on cast of the show. Good to know there's work after "Supernatural".
Spoiler's alert. It seems Kripke is still working on the "Supernatural" formula where angel and gods are "dongs" as a carry over theme to these "super heroes". Figure if Kripke can get 15 years of play on CW he can get as much off Bezos with a fatter paycheck.

Never heard of the show
Will have to look it up
Last of any TV or movie series I watched was Yellowstone spin off 1883 I think it was called
I use to Bing watch a lot of the old series that were popular but never got around to watching them when they were original broadcast
Watching right now it's different and just can't get my head around it as of yet
The show is reminiscent of another show called "Powers". On "The Boys" all the "super" people are a knock off of what already exists in Marvel, DC and others. Basically everybody on the show is bent and hateable. I suppose if I had powers I would feel entitled to do as I wished.
I just realizedi may have jumped out of sequence on the show I just seen a heading rhe boys and hit go I have to a better search later tonight
I do agree they seem to have the super group with a easy to hate character's
Those boys on Supernatural had about as close as you can get to a life time job. They dang near retired making that show. Good work if you can get it.
Smitty500mag - 15 seasons (might've been 16 technically because of covid). Had they not killed off Crowley they might've made 20 seasons. I think they used covid as an excuse to quit. Would've been cool to see the Winchester boys without "god" (Chuck) watching out for them. They would've had to play it careful.
Now "Walker" (Sam's show) I tried to watch it but I couldn't get past 6 episodes before quitting. It was nice seeing Mitch (X-Files) working but maybe it's better now?
